Steven Weinberg, Sheldon Glashow and Abdus Salam, Roy Glauber won Nobel for work based on George Sudarshan’s.

The Mallu in question is the nut-case physicist E C George Sudarshan who believes that he was humbugged by a bunch of white men and denied the Nobel that belonged to him.

The others are presumably the ones who won E.C.G’s prize(well, three of them, at any rate).

  3. George Sudarshan is the guy in white.

He was denied the Nobel Prize in 1979 which was won by Steven Weinberg, Sheldon Glashow and Abdus Salam.

Later in 2005 several physicists wrote a letter to the Swedish Academy, protesting that Sudarshan should have been awarded a share of the Prize for the Sudarshan-Glauber representation (or Sudarshan diagonal representation) in quantum optics, for which Roy J. Glauber won his share of the prize.

All this happened as the terms of Alfred Nobel’s will restrict the number of Nobel Prize winners to three in a given year.

Thoma’s Masuns mom’s neighbour as a child, Dr ECG Sudharshan who with Glauber (keeper of the broom) did pioneering work in optics.
    quoting wiki..
About having been denied the Nobel in 1979 as well, Sudarshan said, “Steven Weinberg, Sheldon Glashow and Abdus Salam built on work I had done as a 26-year-old student. If you give a prize for a building, shouldn’t the fellow who built the first floor be given the prize before those who built the second floor?”
