Daily Question – 60

Connect.

The connect is the film ’10 Things I Hate About You’. It was based on William Shakespeare’s ‘The Taming Of The Shrew’ and the film’s tagline was ”How do I loathe thee, let me count the ways.”, based on the most famous sonnet written by the poetess Elizabeth Barrett Browning, which began, “How do I love thee, let me count the ways.”

Only one person managed to crack it – zizzyphus. Well done!!

“10 things I hate about you”.
The first one is a play on the words of a poem written by Elizabeth Barrett Browning “How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways and second is Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew’s
    “I burn, I pine, I perish!”
