The Budweiser Clydesdales have been a symbol for the Anheuser-Busch company since 1933, when company president August Busch sent a case of Budweiser to President Franklin D. Roosevelt in a carriage drawn by a team of Clydesdales. The horses are often seen in local parades and are featured in Anheuser-Busch’s advertising campaigns.
